Here are the answers to some of our most frequently asked questions:
1.) When is the annual trip to Silverwood?
We will continue the tradition of Silverwood this year by making the trip on August 2.
2.) What time do I need to meet up with the youth group?
Please meet at the church parking lot no later than 6:45AM. If you're late, we may leave you! We will be back at around 11PM.
3.) How will we get there?
We have been approved to take two buses to Silverwood this year so that more people can join in on the fun. But sign up soon because spaces fill up quickly!
4.) How much does it cost?
This trip costs $50. This includes entrance into both Silverwood AND Boulder Beach. It also helps cover the cost of transportation and dinner at Pizza Hut on the way home. Please bring extra money for your lunch or bring a lunch of your own.
5.) Who can attend?
ALL high schoolers are welcome to attend, including all outgoing seniors and incoming freshmen.
6.) Does that mean I can bring friends?
YES! As long as your friends will be in high school this fall or if they are graduating seniors, they are welcome to attend as long as they fill in the appropriate paperwork and pay the $50 fee. We will allow friends to come as long as there's space on the bus.
7.) Where should I turn in my money and how can I get the permission forms?
There are Silverwood packets in the CK Parish Church foyer. You may download the permission slips on our website by clicking here. Please turn in your permission slips and money to the parish office.
